Pencil case- Birch bark
Pencil case with upcycled jeans lining. This popular pattern features bark (cork) cells in birch. Cork cells are thin, air-filled cells that form a protective layer on the surface of the tree trunk. Birch bark cells contain a molecule called betulin, which may protect birch trees against pathogenic fungi and microorganisms. Betulin also gives the bark its typical white color.
Our pencil cases are sewn in Sweden. They make a great gift-package together with one of our notebooks.
