Linen fabric – Poppy seed capsule
This beautiful pattern with its intricate large and filigree structures is available in a shade of blue-purple-green on 100% linen (185 gsm) softened by stonewashing. The striped cells that make this pattern so intricate are xylem vessels in a poppy seed capsule. The stripes originate from special cell wall thickenings that form around vessel cells giving them support and rigidity to transport water. It combines well to our linnea stem pith designs in green or purple as well as to the cypress spores design.
Prices for fabrics are per 10 cm and fabrics are sold by an increment of 10cm. Please indicate the length you wish to order as a multiple of 10cm (e.g. Quantity 5 for 50cm, 10 for 1m…). Fabrics of the same design will be shipped in one piece. For wholesale prices, please contact us.

Description
Product: Soft, stonewashed linen fabric printed on one side (backside white), 1m40 wide. Suitable for clothing and home textiles.
Material: This European linen is woven in an OEKO-Tex 100 certified factory in Lithuania. It is printed in Lithuania.

The softening procedure is mechanical and called “stone-washed” (mimicking the natural softening usually obtained through repeated washing), no additives were used.
