Linen fabric – Isolated cells

This whimsical bubbly pattern is available in blue on a white background and printed on 150gsm stonewashed linen. The “bubbles” are isolated cells from an Arabidopsis plant. When cell walls are removed from the outside of plant cells, the cells become round. The cells, called protoplasts, are commonly used in plant research.
